I provide customized services for what you need and want. I can work with you on running form or prepare a running plan to get you ready for a goal race or a set of running workouts that you can follow to keep fit.. If it is conditioning for other sports, I can work with you or your child during the off-season to be ready for the start of the season for such sports as Cross Country, baseball, basketball, or soccer.
It all begins with you filling out a questionnaire about your health and fitness and what you want to accomplish with your running. I will use that, along with what I learn about you from meeting and talking with you about your running goals, to develop your personalized training/running plan.
Some like the plan to just list the runs that are to be completed during the week and they pick the days on which they want to do the workouts. Others like the structure of a running plan that schedules a specific workout for a particular day of the week. Either is possible and something that I have done for many clients.
With the purchase of a running plan, you can also contact me during your training period - periodically by telephone and regularly by eMail - to ask questions or to discuss upcoming workouts or get feedback on the a completed workout. My coaching certification and my continuing studies have given me knowledge about core strength and flexibility training which can be incorporated into your training/running plan.
I also have been educated on common running injuries, their causes, and actions to take for minor cases, though most times the advice will be to see your primary healthcare provider for treatment. When possible, I like to meet with you to help you through through the first workout and get back together periodically throughtout the training to check on progress.
